I focused on erotic fiction because I believed that sex and lust and the choices we make about them often tell us who we are more clearly than any other aspect of our lives.

For personal reasons I have decided to stop writing as Mike Kimera.
I have left this website up because some people have asked to continue to have access to the stories that are posted here.

“Other Bonds Than Leather” is a story that seems to resonate with a lot of people. I like to think that this is because it is a straight forward and honest view about how a D/s relationship might develop. It puts a layer of humanity over the BDSM myth.

I just read Sex With Owen. I have to argue with your assertion on this website that you provide the text and the reader provides the meaning. Part of meaning is what you put forth, yes, and part of it is what I perceive and interpret. But that statement is insufficient recognition for your craftsmanship. You put to words things felt and known but not articulated. I will have to return to this piece many times to fully experience the richness, depth, and self-containment, to give due recognition to all the you did right and all the wrongs you so expertly avoided. There’s such a range to sexual experience that part of me resists saying this, but still you have to hear what this piece really is, so I’ll say it. This is the single most complete, connected, arousing, and satisfying piece of sex writing I have ever read.

I have continued to write under another name. My output is a little lower but I am part way through a novel that I hope to get published.
